ABC News: Child found in car after Capitol incident

WASHINGTON - October 3, 2013 (WPVI) -- A source told ABC News that a child was found in a car at the center of an incident at the U.S. Capitol on Thursday that sparked a lockdown.

The child was not injured.

ABC News previously reported that a female suspect was dead at the scene.

"ABC News previously reported that a female suspect was dead at the scene." <--- With no other mention of the suspect, should we assume there was a female suspect dead at the scene, or are they saying they "previously reported it" to imply, "yeah, we told you that, but it was wrong." Or are we supposed to believe that the previously dead female suspect was actually a child in a car?

Then they end the story with, "The Capitol this week is the center of a contentious political battle over an ongoing government shutdown." Hokay, that's true, but is it relevant?
