Incident started at White House, car (w/child) chase proceeded to Capitol hill

I will add some updates

Female driver of black car (with a child in the car) tried to gain access to WH. (Ramming the gate at 15th and E st. East side of WH, near Teasury bldg.)

Secret Service pursued. Car chase down Constitution Avenue.

(Constitution and Pennsylvania both go to the Capitol, but Pennsylvania is blocked off near the WH... most bigger roads in that part of town go to the Capitol because DC is laid out that way. So I expect the suspect may not have even been interested in the Capitol... if you tried to get away from pursuit from the east side of the WH you would aim for multi-lane roads and your odds of ending up near the Capitol are good.)

Shots fired at 2nd and Constitution NE on back side of Capitol (near Supreme Court, but probably not related to SC. Also near Library of Congress and Hart House office building.)

reports that woman jumped out of car and started shooting. Was, in turn, shot.

Medivac Helicopter landed on Mall. Seemingly for a downed Capitol police officer, hit by the car, not shot. (In front of Capitol, but that is the only place to land a helicopter. The rear side of the Capitol is dense streets lined with trees.)

Capitol lock-down is now over.
