Watching MSNBC (this morning) and Thomas Roberts ROCKS!!!!

Oh MAN!!!!!

He's being FUCKING BRILLIANT!!!!!

And he's making mincemeat out of that little prick rinsed penis!!!!!! OMG!!!!

I think I'm in LOVE!!!! Where has he been all our lives??? THIS is what I want to see from news anchors/interviewers - PARTICULARLY on MSNBC.

He would NOT let that arrogant little punk just blather away. He was NO stovepipe or stenographer or chuck todd type. He jumped in, IMMEDIATELY, on the crap priebus was trying to push, and talked over him. And he wouldn't let go! And there were actually times when that little pipsqueak actually had to stop talking, and chuckle uncomfortably and shake his head and momentarily give up. Thomas Roberts just kept hammering him! Hammering him with facts. Hammering him with accuracy. Hammering him with rebuttals that he clearly had at his fingertips because I guess, all this time, that Thomas Roberts has been paying attention or something.

I was literally up on my feet CHEERING!!!!

I called MSNBC (212) 664 - 6605 and let 'em know! They transferred me to a listener message line and I left a message there, too. I posted on Facebook, and emailed 'em ( msnbctvinfo@nbcuni.com ) to tell them so. That journalistic disgrace chuck todd could take a lesson. Hell, as good as she is, even Rachel Maddow could take a lesson! You do NOT concede the point to these bastards. You do NOT let them get the last word. You do NOT let them get a word in edgewise or talk over you or try to steamroll you or interrupt you to win the point. And Thomas Roberts did not concede one millimeter!!! He treated that pipsqueak the way he deserved to be treated - and it was a THING of BEAUTY!!!!!

I have not studied this hypothesis, but it's my contention that political news shows with guests and panels used to have manners. Every person was kind of given equal time for their POV. I would guess that change took place some time in the early eighties, probably coincident with the repeal of the fairness doctrine, perhaps?

The civility has now disappeared and like the rest of our society, the most aggressive one wins!

He would shout over those who dared disagree. He would filibuster the segment, knowing time was at a premium. Others in the Christian right followed suit. The networks saw such arguing was good for ratings so they encouraged boorish behavior.

They're terrorists and hostage-takers and extortionists and they're full of shit! They shouldn't be allowed even to finish a sentence, much less dominate the narrative!!!

Thomas Roberts showed 'em who's boss, who's really "right," and in the process showed every other journalist everywhere, on MXNBC and elsewhere, how to handle these bastards!!! DAYUM!!! What GREAT television!!! At LONG LAST!!!!

(Yeah, I'm shouting... can't help it! Sorry to be insufferable, but man, when I see my point proven and run all the way to the goal-line, I just kinda go nuts!!! I've been waiting for something like this for SO DAMN LONG!!!!!)

The ACA was negotiated in the Senate, hashed out in the House, fried by the Supreme Court, gradually implemented over the past four years.

What can't the Republicans understand about that? It is a done deal.

If they want to make a change here or there, let them offer a bill on the floor.

Using the budget as a bludgeon to get rid of a law they don't like when they know they don't have the votes in the Senate or the signature of the president is just bullying.

But then, isn't that what Republicans are about? Bullying?

Thanks guys!

I'm so glad people are seeing this! What they really NEED to see, though, is the video of Thomas Roberts NOT ALLOWING that little NRC prick to have his say, unchecked and without challenge! chuck todd (also known as "Todd-Blossom" among other things) could take a lesson. He certainly needs to be schooled as to how hosts and moderators MUST set the record straight when one side is spewing bullshit! Failing to do so (or in todd's case, REFUSING to do so) just lets the bullshit stand as though it were somehow fact-based as well. It HAS TO be talked down!!!! Even SHOUTED down if necessary!
