Michele Bachmann's a good negative bellwether--if she thinks something's true it's probably not.

And therein lies the problem.

The clueless and uninformed electing clueless and uninformed politicians.

The U.S. media should be taken to the woodshed.

Our country would not be in the shape it is in, if we had an honest media.

in addition our teaching of civics has gone by the wayside. It's all math and science now in the schools. That's well and good, but it doesn't teach civic responsibility or civic thinking skills. I had to make my US citizenship, so I took politics seriously from the time I was about 11 years old because I knew with in a few years that I would need to it in order to stay in the US as an adult.

They want the government shut down permanently so they can go back to their little realms and be rulers without any restraints. You don't think Bachmann would bring back slavery in her own district if she could, just because she thinks it is "better" for people? I know she would.

She'd probably enact enough heinous legislation to destroy women's lives, too, but since she would be the governing body, she would be immune. Never underestimate the contempt folks like her have for the ordinary person.

That the media gives her a pass is even more frightening,
