How many of you know about healthcare co-ops?
This was thrown in as a replacement for public option ..
This allows non profits to compete on an even playing field with the insurance companies ... and since no can weed out high risk individual .. quite simply the company with best rates will win out.... and who better to put pricing pressure than co-ops ...
I think the healthcare landscape will look very different in about 20 years in this country .. and this is last best chance for the status quo to thwart that change ... and that explains all this madness.
