Why no talk of Reagan debt limit raising?

Ronald Reagan raised the debt limit 18 times ot the tune of 200%. With all the republican talk of how irresponsible it is to raise the debt ceiling, why is Obama, and democrats in Congress so reluctant to bring this up? Is it just a reluctance to publically drudge up the actions of past presidents, which is sort of an unwritten rule? I understand that nuance, but wow, the historical perspective, and the unreal hyprocrisy, is pretty blatant.

5. As usual, the media is being terribly lazy. What will happen is that someone like you, only

who talks on TV for a living, will bring it up on some of these political opinion shows, and then, suddenly, like magic, everyone will start yammering about it like they're self-proclaimed experts on the topic.

If it does happen, and Obama does in fact do it, I can assure you that one of the first words outta his mouth will be Ronald or Reagan!!! In fact, the phrase "Ronald Reagan" is the way to shut up any of those bozos who have the chutzpah to complain...!
