are speaking gibberish, lying through their teeth and grasping for any excuse to blame the President and the Dems on this. One Repug just said something to the effect - look how this Administration is running this shutdown - and that's what we're to expect of them running Obamacare.

Are these guys so confident in getting re-elected that they'll even sacrifice their constituents in their districts? Don't these people have family and friends that are impacted by this shutdown.

Now they are piecemealing opening up select parts of government that is drawing criticism from We The People - just to save face and blame the Dems in the Senate for the shutdown.

I just can't understand why the MSM interviewers on these cable shows don't confront these Congressmen in a more direct way when they know darn well they are lying through their teeth and making things up. Why don't one of these interviewers tell them that they should be embarrassed by what they are doing. That it's a shame. Or worse yet - call them liars right their in the interview.

That Congressman that at the State of the Union a couple of years back that called out to the President - that he was lying - was being interviewed the other day and lying through his teeth. Nobody called him out and in contrast to the President - this guy was lying.

I just don't get it. If the American People don't reject these Repugs in 2014 - then we're in deep trouble.

the Main Stream Media in this country is solidly right leaning even while it's detractors claim it is left. Ted Cruz is all over the airwaves and for what? He's just another Tea Party fool.

Yes. They come from districts that are 60-70% red, so they will face no repercussions. Those that will are the few reasonable moderate republicans in swing districts.
