New Hampshire grandmother shot to death by state troopers during traffic stop

A New Hampshire grandmother was shot to death by state troopers earlier this week during a traffic stop.

The state attorney general’s office released a statement Wednesday revealing new details about events that led to the fatal shooting of 45-year-old Wendy Lawrence, reported the Concord Monitor.

The Canterbury woman was pulled over Monday evening after a state trooper said she was speeding and driving erratically on Interstate 89

So... they chased down a "criminal" in a car... and decided to shoot her, instead of trying to apprehend her.
From the description of events, they try to make it like she was a danger to the community with her car. I don't buy that reasoning. They had her ID, they knew who she was... there was NOT an reason the shoot her over a traffic violation.

very sad.

She did almost hit a pedestrian, but if she hadn't been pursued by the police, she probably could have been apprehended at a later time.
