UPDATE - Romney La Jolla Mansion Plans Roiled by Tony Ciani

Of this one person (Pitten's), yours truly is an expert. For I'm the man who has been battling Bain Capital and Mitt Romney for 12 years (see PoliticusUSA.com article by Rmuse - here). It was not my quest to stop a politico - it is my duty to seek arrest of an organized crime boss (who now desires to steal some of California public property and call it his very own). Thus, Tony Ciani and I are kindred spirits.

Romney wants to steal and Ciani and I are the only one's saying NO!

I can tell you this one thing for certain. Mitt Romney and his gangs (including Sheldon Adelson seeking a "friendly" U.S. Attorney General) - spent a BILLION $ -

and Romney DIDN'T Make it!

Just a few days ago, we rushed out a LBN thread titled "San Diego Channel 10 News Interviewed Ann Romney & Tony Ciani on La Jolla Coastal Commission Appeal". It was a follow up piece to another DU thread "Mitt Romney's La Jolla Mansion is Not a Done Deal" - that discussed how Anthony Ciani (an architect who used to live on Romney's Dunemere neighborhood) - fought Romney's California Coastal Commission requests to "expand" Mitt's property boundaries to devour public beach. As remarked upon in my initial DU thread on the La Jolla mansion scheme - titled "Anthony Ciani Roils Romney's Mansion Plans"; Tony Ciani doesn't care who Romney is, what he stands for and what offices he seeks to hold. Mr. Ciani is -

fighting Mitt Romney; because it's the right thing to do.

Now you can see the recent Channel 10 News interview of Ann Romney & Tony Ciani (here).

It is not of any consequence; but it's a prequel of what is bound to be a doozie.

Stay Tuned!

If you also post the actual google map you can see that neighborhood is crammed with houses and the 'beach' is very narrow and NOONE has a private beach.

The public beaches for walkers in those areas are narrow enough as it is.

Romney is a bad neighbor already and he doesn't even live there yet. Can you imagine how it will be when 50 grandkids visit papa.

As an architecht, he can see that a teardown/rebuild of the house will turn into a neighborhood-wrecking monstrosity. My sister is an "AIA" architecht, who does some high-end 2nd and retirement homes, and she has told me that the mistakes the RMoney's are making are very common - basically, driven by poor planning, bad advice, and the family proclivity to overreach their property rights. (The Mittsters MaSP bodyguards were deployed to "secure" his NH waterfront, in contravention of NH law - the neighbors on the big lake were NOT impressed.)
The Rommney's would be far better off selling the LaJolla property, while it is still nice, and buying a family compound/small resort nearby - I looked online backalong, and there are some nice ones available

4. Please advise - IF - you have more details on the NH property over reaching!

The issue at hand - is that (IF) the Romney's are permitted to "take" what is not theirs, it will be a Precedent setting event. Where everyone up and down the California coast, will seek to improve their properties worth - by overreaching to the Romney new standard of "mean high tide line" ("MHTL&quot .

by the way, your title to your comment irked me - at 1st

7. When Mitt was governor of MA, his MaSP goons ran people off who approached his waterfront

NH state law is that all bodies of water are public, to the high water mark. On Lake Winnipisaukie, the best fishing is around docks, pilings, and shoreline "structure".

I used to work for a tournament fisheman, and he told me that this is pretty common behavior on the big lake, with out-of-state owners. He'd been threatened several times - Typically, he asks them nicely to call the police - after the call, they walk away furious, but Alan is still fishin'.

that would be greatly appreciated.

So that - when we go to the hearing - we can demonstrate Mitt's habits.
