Hobby Lobby Boycotts Jewish Hanukkah And Passover (Because They LOVE Jesus but not Jews)

Do these idiots even know that Jesus was Jewish??? Well, I guess now I am boycotting Scott's Miracle Grow, Papa John's, Walmart, that fascist pasta and now Hobby Lobby.

"Hanukkah comes early this year. But it apparently never comes to Hobby Lobby.

The national craft store owned by conservative billionaire Steve Green seemingly refuses to carry merchandise related to Hanukkah because of Green’s “Christian values,” and some Jews are taking offense.

“I will never set foot in a Hobby Lobby. Ever.” wrote Ken Berwitz, the New Jersey blogger who brought the Hobby Lobby Hanukkah flap to light in a Friday (Sept. 27) blog post.

Berwitz’s outrage has spread to other bloggers who are taking Hobby Lobby to task as a store that courts the general public, but refuses to stock anything related to Judaism — even in communities with significant Jewish populations."

(and...I'm sorry, it comes from HP: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/10/02/hobby-lobby-jewish-boycott-steve-green_n_4032295.html

One of the rules on the holy raffle ticket says that Jews gotta be doing their Jew thing in Israel before Jesus will get round to Rapturin' up all the proper Christian folk.

200-Year-Old Jewish Prayer Book Is Unveiled

Austin, Tex. — A 1,200-year-old parchment Jewish prayer book that is billed as the oldest in existence was introduced Sept. 27 by a prominent private collector of Biblical artifacts.

The complete 50-page book with original 13-by-10 centimeter binding features early Babylonian vowels, which are a precursor to modern Hebrew vowels. Those, along with Carbon-14 dating, helped scholars arrive at the 9th-century date, which would make the prayer book several hundred years older than the oldest Torah scrolls, although later than the Dead Sea Scrolls.

“This is the oldest Jewish prayer book known to exist in the world,” said Steven Green, the president of the retail chain Hobby Lobby, announcing the identification at the Religion Newswriters Association conference here.

Green’s eponymous collection, which contains more than 40,000 artifacts, is slated to have a permanent home when the Museum of the Bible opens in Washington, D.C.

Anyway, guy sounds like a real piece of work. I can honestly say I've never been in a Hobby Lobby (or a Chik-Fil-A, for that matter) but I can tell you this particular story is burning up many circles of my FB friends.

Screw that dude.

selling Halloween stuff than there is selling Hanukkah stuff. The loss of sales of Halloween stuff would seriously hurt the bottom line.

The controversy erupted Friday after blogger Ken Berwitz posted an article on political website Hopelessly Partisan after receiving word that Hobby Lobby stores in Marlboro Township, N.J., refused to sell menorahs and other Jewish holiday items.

“One of our friends entered the store, asked where the Chanukah goods were, was told there wouldn't be any, and asked why,” Berwitz wrote. “According to her, the answer was: ‘We don't cater to you people.’”

to give more credence to his teachings and actions versus primarily the Resurrection.

I have a friend and she goes to church every Sunday, I have probably went twice in two years, even though she keeps begging me to go with her.

I told her at least a couple of times that Jesus was Jewish and she didn't or didn't want to believe me.

However, I may have made headway on that front because she didn't deny it the last time.

Thanks for the thread, DonRedwood.
