Predicted TS by landfall, some rain and wind. Gonna go stock up some on extra water an gas though just in case.

That's one of the sad/funny things about shutting down the federal government: the people who answer the phones and emails are federal workers.

A tropical storm typically doesn't draw much federal response, state and local authorities can usually handle everything.

FEMA, the NWS, and the NHC are all essential anyway and working during the shutdown.
