the supposedly fancy, special medical professionals' group policy I had for years that topped out at $500/mo SEVEN YEARS AGO and had a deductible of either $5000 or $7500 ( I forget) and an annual out-of-pocket of $10K IIRC. And that didn't cover A SINGLE THING until the deductible had been met, so I was out of pocket (including premiums)$11,000-$13,500 per year before I could get an effing aspirin paid for by them.

I had to choose between paying for insurance etc and paying for the occasional doctor visit myself. There WAS no choice. It was bankrupting me.

that it will also make it harder for the big rip-off artists, I mean, the big insurance companies, to line the republican campaign coffers. Those donations should quickly go way, way down.
