Which is GOOD, it is good that (like a small child) they are able to verbalize they want something.

This is my Rep. Good old Marlin millions in Farm Subsidies for me, no Food Stamps for the poor Stutzman. He's a peach.

This is actually pretty well spoken for him, normally he just babbles incoherently. Of course, he naturally would be more worried about being "disrespected" instead of the people's lives that he's ruining. It's sometimes hard to comprehend his degree of self-centeredness.

So on behalf of the 3rd district... Sorry, America. We're working on it. (Please don't expect miracles in 2014 - this is Indiana after all)

"But having gone as far as they have, House Republicans now say they won't back down. And they expect to score political points in the process."

It really doesn't matter to them what they can get at this point, as long as the score their political points. Country and economy be damned.

it no longer surprises me, but what is sad is they can talk this way and the media does not call them out on it.

Republicans can talk openly about this, it isn't about governance, it is about winning politically. They don't even try to say different now, they just say it.

The media doesn't care.

Then, the Rs will scream the Ds are "playing politics" and the media will grill the Ds, "the Rs are saying you are playing politics ..."
