The vets at the WWII memorial were degraded and so was their service...

by the politicization by Michelle Bachmann and Steve King. They used them for their own benefits and it's degrading and insulting.

People should be outraged by this. I know I am.

You will never see me cheering this because I see it for what it is...Politicizing the service and sacrifice for all those who fought in WWII.

3. I'm still attempting to understand why the

WWII memorial and the Lincoln Memoial were roped off. Neither one of those memorials has any facilities that are indoors. They are marbel and granite and are outdoor memorials. Why do they need to be roped off at all?

5. They are barricaded off to make the site secure with minimal security staff. An open site requires

more staff. It is better to attempt to understand why the GOP shut the government down to protest a law they didn't like. They have legal means to change laws without hurting the US and the US economy.
