KGO shifted its schedule around against last week. Saturday nights on KGO are now with 9 hours of progressive talk into the sleepytime hours:
- 6-9PM: Pat Thurston
- 9PM-midnight: Karel
- Midnight-3AM: Peter B. Collins
It's not known yet whether this is permanent. But at least truckers driving up I-5 or US-101 get to listen to something other than the right-wing blabbering of "Red Eye Radio" until 3AM.
And speaking of the former KGO overnight host Ray Taliaferro, here's a classic clip of Taliaferro ripping on that previous smirk of a president:
Collins has interviewed progressive advocacy journalists including Russ Baker.
At night, KGO can reportedly be heard as far north as Seattle and south as Tijuana.
