Senators Cruz, Rubio, Lee, and Rand Paul...

Have made separate objections to having a budget conference with the Democrats since March of this year. Some have done it more than once. But the question is why??

Not until they were minutes away from a government shutdown did they ask to conference with the Senate Democrats. People with eyes open could see that it was all for showl

Senator Patty Murray said that she had tried 18 times to conference with the Republicans. But, each time, she was rebuffed. Each time, one of the above Senators would object to going to conference? What was up their sleeve?

It looks as if they have been planning this shutdown since the last election? They have planned and conspired on this plan for a long time.

wonderful piece of reporting by Rachel Maddow on Monday...

Edited to add: and according to this clip from her show, it appears they have been planning the shutdown since early in 2010 and why I have been claiming that they have intentionally violated their oaths of office and should be prosecuted for it (among other charges that should be obvious).
