Here's an analogy to toss back to any right wingnut saying the shutdown is the Dems' fault....
It would be like if the Democrats fought to shutdown the gov't if they couldn't pass gun control laws. They've tried and tried in the past to enact gun control but keep getting thwarted by the mutated NRA, the marketing arm of gun mfrs.
But, they don't threaten to shutdown the gov't if they don't get their way. They don't whine like a little three year-old throwing a tantrum that his toy was taken away. They move on. They accept and move on. Not the new GOP. The new GOP is a cornered wild animal lashing out in fear and anger. That's certainly not what our Founding Fathers had envisioned.
