Has anybody actually been able to sign up for an account with Healthcare.gov?

I've tried once an hour since about 6AM and no luck.

At best I was able to get through the forms (about half the time that wasn't possible) only to have a message that there was an error creating the account.

family. I can't get back in to see if any of it was saved. It couldn't even verify my identity. Had to call an outside service. They didn't have any of the information about me from healthcare.gov, so that, too, failed.

I'm going to try later tonight or tomorrow.

Word is there are some issues with Chrome and the ACA sites...

Truth be told there are issues with Chrome and everything but if you are using it try a different browser for your ACA visits..

I went to Firefox because there were form drop downs that wouldn't fill in Chrome. How the fuck do you leave the design of something like this to somebody who can't even get cross browser testing right?

I hate to say it but if this were a private company they'd be raked over the coals right now.

Gonna wait till next week to start my adventure.

It's not that I don't agree with you but private companies have been dealing with this shit for a long time. Especially gaming companies. I can't think of an online game where the launch went perfectly. And those guys do it for a living.

Yeah it's frustrating, but on the bright side Republicans have been screaming that Americans don't want Obamacare and on day one the sites are too flooded to accommodate everyone.

But when I went back to "shop" the Marketplace, it had too much traffic. I'm going to give it a week and try again.
