There is no Tea Party!

Time to call this BS out. EVERY single one of them is a Republican and the MSM and all of us need to make them own it. It just gives the cons cover to pretend they are being pulled into the lunatic fringe right by stating that there is a another party. They made this mess let them own every bit of it.

1.) By painting all Republicans with the Tea Party brush you give the illusion that their views are far more widespread than they are; they aren't.

2.) It also makes it harder to compromise in the future (on the Government shut down there is no compromise possible), when we might be able to get some republicans to work with us.

This just gives the far right loons two places at the table. One under the guise of the "reasonable" Republican and one the outsider who was forced on the poor cons.
Then we Democrats get one guy. Seen it way too many times. I agree that they are not widespread but allowing Republicans to claim they are held hostage by them
is what gives the impression that they are. How many R's in the house are working with us? I think only 2 voted against the shut down. The cons have hive mind down to a T.

YMMV.

Peace and thanks for the response. The last word is yours.

But I do know a rabid right wing Republican when I see one and that is all the "Tea" party is. They couldn't get elected 30 years ago and now they are presented as a voice at the table with
ideas that are well crafted and worth considering when they are neither.

Peace.
