5. My representative is not going to listen

He's all over the paper today saying" how proud he is to stand against the injustice of Obamacare." He's a total brickheaded,evil sack of crap, scumbag.

I did call my two Dem Senators thanked them for standing strong and encouraging them to stay that way.

6. It's good to not underestimate the value of negative calls

The aides may not listen, but they do keep stats. Calls might run 2 or 3 to one against the shutdown. You can help with the weight of that. This is not a popular action even among republicans.

7. Just called and said:

I am extemely opposed to the CR and the debt ceiling being used as bargaining chips. That if the Republicans don't like parts of the Affordable Care Act they should find another way to address that, but this way is just wrong and it is hurting the American People.
