My Rep is a teabagger.....one that is going to receive a call from me in a few minutes.

watching C-SPAN - they are digging in and nothing is getting through

But....we are missing a GREAT opportunity to lay it on thick.....about them so consumed with not caring about the sick and less fortunate. I would say - "no one deserves to speak against ACA unless you have no insurance."

Four more years until I'm eligible for Medicare .

I know I will probably just get an intern on the phone and I will try to be kind, but I am pissed. My Rep. is such an idiot/lemming/sheep. The GOP has no empathy for those less fortunate. None. I don't know how you force them to develop empathy. It is not in their nature.

How do you get people to care. I think it is very very difficult. But...I do think
that brilliant orators can do it. Actually think Obama did when he first ran - but then the intense anti-Obama propaganda made them stop and think "Oh, man, what was I thinking, caring for a second, back to the world when I am not supposed to do that".

I pay through my husband's company. $450/mo. I am anxious to see what is out there too !

Good luck. The kind, questioning approach would probably work better than yelling. haha

" Hello, I am totally confused, is the TV right?, that Rep XYZ doesn't care that people who are sick can't see a doctor? What does he want them to do?"
