Just had a run-in with a TeaBagger...

At work.

He came up to me gloating about the shutdown and said, "The one person assured of keeping his job is Obama's caddy!"
I said, "I didn't know Boehner was caddying for the President?!"
He look at me confused.
I said, "You know, on second thought he'd be too drunk to carry his clubs."
He turned and walked away without saying anything

A lot of TeaBagging snark out there today! Anyone else working with a GOP clown?

by GOP clowns. They may be clucking, pooting and jibbering amongst themselves, but they know a damn sight better than to bring that shit to me.

Strangely, it's been quiet around here today. I'm really amazed that none of them have said anything thus far.

I didn't have to listen to Fox News stupidity from coworkers and had all morning to formulate a letter to my repuke "representative".

Haven't spoken with him for a while. Ex-coworker. He actually used to be a democrat but that's another story.

Anyway it was brutally clear that he's formed his opinions solely from the MSM "both sides are at fault" false eqivilency BS. His ignorance and lack of ability to think critically ( he never was very good at connecting the dots ) is apalling. He's nearing retirement and fears he'll get screwed out of SS "thanks to our wonderful Obama" ( said sarcasticly ) and that if his health takes a turn for the worst he'll be in bad shape "thanks to this Obamacare shit". That he grew up a "white flight" urban to bigoted suburbanite is a catalyst that feeds his confirmation bias. The impending shutdown was just another reason for him to spew his "throw the bums out" ( a lame attempt at trying not to be partisan ) especially Obama.

We've been down this road before: He'd spew ignorant half-truth MSM talking points, I'd easily explain that's not right and why; then he'll get angry and retreat, as he always does, to his "they're gonna take away our guns" comfort zone.
