Good vibes needed for Fed contractors

A lot of the shutdown is dependent on funding. The project I am on (as a contractor) is funded through January, but, it is possible we will get a stop work order. That's in the hands of our Contracting Officer and their superiors. The last word I've gotten is there is no decision as yet. The company I work for has about 10 or so contracts with this status.

I'm guessing there are many here in the same situation.

he has a job but little to no security. I can't tell you how hard it is for me to see the stress on such a young man. I hope all goes well for you and your family.
