Congress officially jumped the shark last night.

It's not the first time the government has been shut down, but after years of complete gridlock and inability to process even the most basic orders of business and governance, including a default on the national debt, Congress just officially vindicated the 85+% of Americans who hate that body.

What a shameful day.
