Just watched Joan Walsh tear limbaugh a new one on Hardball

Called him a pervert among other things.

But what was really hilarious was watching Chris Matthews squirm when she was saying it. The look of horror on his face was priceless. He was very uncomfortable with it, so much so he abruptly ended the segment.

Chris really does not have a very strong spine.

And I turned the sound OFF and got involved in something else. MSNBC has been using that same clip all day and my sound has been off much of the day - when I haven't been on a different channel.

3. THAT is how it is done... not by using LImbaugh's disgusting own terminology as Mellisa H. Perry

did earlier. While I agree with MHP that a woman's sexuality is not at issue, no woman deserves to be called a "slut" even by those supposedly defending them....

I'd call on Joan Walsh any day for her support and for her very effective way of throwing it right back at these assholes. MHP needs to take a few lessons.

My opinion of course.

think that you have to take a birth control pill every time you have sex.

Rush has been married FOUR times, produced ZERO children and he doesn't know how the pill works?

His sperm is probably as rotten as the rest of him.
Ed Shultz will continue the feast.

Seriously though, I thought Tweety was pretty good in that segment. I detected some fatherly protectiveness of Ms Fluke, and that if Rush walked in at that moment he would beat the shit out of him.

11. Chris Matthews is a Bush voter and a misogynist

Some choice quotes from this conservative Beltway clown care of Comcast's media arm:

On MSNBC's Hardball, during a discussion with Washington Times editorial page editor Tony Blankley of the effects on President Bush and his administration of the investigation into the leak of the name of CIA operative Valerie Plame, Matthews said "[S]ometimes it glimmers with this man, our president, that kind of sunny nobility." [Hardball, 10/24/05]

Insulting the majority of Americans who hold an unfavorable opinion of President Bush, Matthews exclaimed on Hardball: "Everybody sort of likes the president, except for the real whack-jobs, maybe on the left," adding, "I mean, like him personally." [Hardball, 11/28/05]

After Clinton won the New Hampshire Democratic primary, Matthews asserted: "[T]he reason she may be a front-runner is her husband messed around."

"MATTHEWS: We're proud of our president. Americans love having a guy as president, a guy who has a little swagger, who's physical, who's not a complicated guy like (former President Bill) Clinton or even like (former Democratic presidential candidates Michael) Dukakis or (Walter) Mondale, all those guys, (George) McGovern. They want a guy who's president. Women like a guy who's president. Check it out. The women like this war. I think we like having a hero as our president. It's simple. We're not like the Brits. We don't want an indoor prime minister type, or the Danes or the Dutch or the Italians, or a Putin. Can you imagine Putin getting elected here? We want a guy as president."

Chris Matthews is a sexist, Catholic conservative Bush voter working to further Comcast's media goals.
