"Wake Up!" "Use Common Sense!" "Get Your Head Out of Your Ass!"
Look everyone, if you think generically telling people to get their "heads out of their asses", to "wake up", or to use "common sense" has a more profound meaning, then let's have it. But what it usually means is you think people should agree with you without your having to compellingly argue your position, and that it not the case. Democracy is a dialogue, a conversation, and an experiment - you have to explain your point if you want to be heard. Even then, your point will be challenged and you will have to defend it. Welcome to freedom: it's intellectually rigorous.
