Was Boehner a bit sloshed, last night, when he gave his little yell?

I hadn't seen the clip until this morning, but it sounded to me like he'd had a bit too much "inspiration" which was probably enhanced by his inability to sound strong by yelling and making an ass of himself.

Too little, too late, Boehner. You are such a horrid Speaker of the House. Give it up to someone who can make a speech without a fifth.

Sheesh!

that they could sure smell the liquor when they came out on the floor.

Maybe they should lock the liquor cabinet until the job is done.

So far, they all manage to stand up while giving their little speeches, and I don't think any of them have urped all over the podium. Yet.

Yo, Mister Speaker-Dude, I wanna introduce a... a... a thing to let us bring hookers with us in the chamber.

Wicked, man. Is this not cool with anyone? Fine.

They couldn't get any more embarrassing than they already are. Besides, it appears they're mean drunks.

having problems getting his thoughts out. At first, I thought it was because he was trying to sound strong and decisive, but then he got slobbery/spitting.

He never should have had the job with no more control than he has.

He wasn't crying, was he?

That's right up there with the Republicon's extramarital wide-stance, diaper-clad, hooker-enriched Biblically 'pure' sex family values.
