In other words, gop (aka The Hating Crazy) federal employees hate The President and are brain washed by faux story time tv and the pill popping joke of a talk radio show as well as his whack job lowlife hate mongering racist radio buds.

Quick some one remind the brats they can't by guns during the shutdown maybe the nra (The Crazier Then The Hating Crazy Group) can actually help get through to The Hating Crazy party. But alas Orange Man is probably still drinking the events of last night off (he really needs to get help AA has meetings every hour someone needs to get him to one fast) and his trusted pal Turtle boy is stuck in his shell scared.

Meanwhile my family is now broke cause my hubby works for DoD and is retired Navy and of course we get by pay check to pay check but worse he is stuck in Mississippi and can't really afford to get home (we live Fl). Got two kids in college and bills due today. But I think I am not going to pay them just like the house reps think its ok not to pay their bills I am forced to do the same if we want to eat while the gov is shut down.

2. I'd wager that average Americans who are not directly affected

are blaming President Obama and the Democrats over this.

I know this to be true here locally; I had to school a few 'old-timers' here this morning while getting my morning coffee.

I generally pay no mind to their banter in the morning, its generally low information voter type drivel.

However this morning I had to chime in when I heard that it was "...the Democrats who refused to compromise"

I explained that the Democrats attempted to meet in committee 18 times before we got to this point, however it fell on deaf ears when their response was "that may be, but..."

They aren't interested in facts. They only know hate and contempt for what essentially boils down to racism and xenophobia on their part.
