There's always talk of a revolution

and we think it's our type that's gonna do it.

But it happened in the last few days, and we didn't do it.

The teaparty is happy that they accomplished the beginning of a revolution. They've had it with blacks, gays, mixed marriages, women's rights, social programs that give us social security, medicare, medicaid, food stamps, free lunches, etc.

What they are too self-absorbed and blind to see is that they can't win what they started with this shutdown. The white supremacists are in the minority and so far, the People have put up with them because of their acceptance of others and our laws that provide freedom of thought.

I don't think these laws will work in their favor for much longer. They have awakened a sleeping GIANT, who speaks all languages, has a wardrobe of many designs, his diet is multi-national, who has a very big heart. He puts up with everything but hate and being denied what is his by law like legal rights, wages and medical medical care.

White is a minority in this world. Europe solved much of their problem with diversity by accepting the GIANT, not trying to make it disappear. What the teaparty calls socialism old Europe calls common sense. The Fifty States of America is getting mad, teaparty. I would be wary were I one of you because your hate is becoming contagious.

I could see how having easy access could send one in the direction of eliminating these obstructionists the "easy" way instead of working countless hours getting them out of arms reach of destructive weapons against US.

Thing is, I've spent a lot more years being a peaceful, thoughtful DEM who may get mad and off to DC or the State Capital I go to protest or off to volunteer to make a difference and I KNOW that is WHAT REALLY WORKS, than I have been a frustrated DEM when all of that is pissed on by people who don't respect the system.

STILL WE the sane and rational ARE the MAJORITY. We've proved it in many elections they thought they had bought or stolen, but that WE took back. AND we will keep doing it the legal way because that is WHO WE ARE.

who feel like they're being attacked by a rabid animal.

When one's kids are starving, discriminated against, grandparents or parents need help you can't provide, bills need to be paid, and you hear that you don't count because of some teeny group who shuts down your government, sparks will fly soon.

If the teaparty keeps up their hateful mouthy attitude, those guns we have been trying to get control over may end up being the way out for some. I don't have, never had, and don't want one.

A lot of us are gentle and love peace, but I fear that there are people who will resort to violence when pushed too far.

There is a place for those whose outrage is beyond the pale. It makes people eventually want to deal with US.

I am a liberal hawk and I know there are times when the gloves have to come off, but as long as I can keep up the good fight and see one iota of change happen I'm content to be the water that erodes all opposition. Constantly being the broken record.

My "NEW TUNE" is:
"IF you can't or you won't do the job, STEP ASIDE SUCKA"

"There are people who really CAN get it done.
"ON TIME AND UNDER BUDGET."
"There are people who KNOW the Constitution"
"And understand the LAW"
"IF you can't or you won't do the job, STEP ASIDE SUCKA"

"Pretty hair won't save you Guv Perry"
"Gestapo tactics won't save you Guv Walker"
"Poll tax won't beat us."
"It's REALLY QUITE SIMPLE"
"IF you can't do the job, STEP ASIDE SUCKA"
"IF you won't do the job, STEP ASIDE SUCKA"

"If you can't find your arse using both of your hands, STEP ASIDE, STEP ASIDE, STEP ASIDE."
"Let the grownups take over"
"Well get the job done."
"Let the grownups take over"
"There's a Country to run"
"Let the grownups take over"
"Admit that you're done."
"Stick a fork in it sucka and admit that you're done"

"It's REALLY QUITE SIMPLE"
"IF you can't do the job, STEP ASIDE SUCKA"
"IF you won't do the job, STEP ASIDE SUCKA"
"If you can't find your arse using both of your hands, STEP ASIDE, STEP ASIDE, STEP ASIDE."

but if you think there are many who will do much beyond sit at their keyboards, I fear you are much mistaken.

What scares me is the lack of concern for what they are doing, and if you listen to CSpan, a lot of people agree with them. The racial factor is much bigger than what we sitting by our keyboards have considered very seriously. And the gay issue is a real thorn in their asses. They don't flinch.

If there were an election in November this year, peace would come quicker. It will take more than dropping AFC to appease them now.

Their hate for those of us in here who accept everyone is not rational and those of them in office will not relent. I have the tv on and Harry Reid just said the right word, anarchy. That's what they want is to overthrow the government. It starts with Obamacare, but is much deeper than that. They don't hold with global warming, paying our bills, or social freedoms, nothing penetrates their skulls except wanting their way. And they don't have any patience with people like us.

If you think I caused all this dissatisfaction by talking about it, that's your opinion.

I was referring to the hope this disaster might lead to needed change.

I couldn't agree more with what you've said, otherwise. Sadly though I think America goes more backwards each day.
