The most tragic thing that could happen to my government

in my lifetime would be to show a radical faction of the congress that they can rescind existing law and government programs or the implementation thereof by withholding payment on the debt they ran up.

Let them do this and in 10 years or less we will be living in a third world country. The fact that they know this and want this exposes them for what they are - sociopaths.
