Could scrapping a fragile economic recovery be another reason for shutdown?

Or is that giving the Tea Party too much credit?

I was researching whether we should make changes to some of our retirement funds in case the markets take a dump tomorrow and it just occurred to me that a worsening economy could possibly be a bi-product of what these fools are doing.

On that note, does anyone have any opinion or seen any discussion about whether they think precautions should be taken with retirement funds? That little bit we put in there every month is pretty much all we have. So far I've learned that it will be a great time to buy.

Teaparty or the Good Old Boys.

The Teaparty is winning.

They don't give a fuck if the government shuts down. They don't like the government anyway.
