Answer from AFN re: Limpballs

As a service of the Department of Defense, AFN does not advertise on Mr Limbaugh's program, offer products for sale, or sponsor any of the programs we relay to our audience.

The American Forces Network does not censor content and we do not seek to protect our overseas Department of Defense audience from hearing views with which they may disagree. Our mission is to offer program choices, which includes both the one-hour versions and three-hour version of various popular political talk shows.

To review our radio services/schedules, please visit www.myafn.net.

Thanks for your support of the troops and for your interest in AFN.

Sincerely,

- Gene Frederickson

So, if you know any active duty types, maybe drop them a line or give them a call to see what the buzz is about limbaugh's opinion of the majority of women in this country - especially those who are serving in a capacity that he dodged, due to his supposed anal cyst.

Our mission is to offer program choices, which includes both the one-hour versions and three-hour version of various popular political talk shows???

Since when did calling a young woman a slut and a prostitute for testifying before members of Congress about women's health issues qualify as political talk? Since when is telling a young woman to post sex videos on-line for his viewing enjoyment qualify as political talk? Since when does telling a young women who you do not agree with to shut up and shut your legs qualify as political talk?

This is not political talk. This is misogynistic HATE SPEECH.

It is not acceptable in a civilized society. It is destructive and undermines our political process.

The women of American can only assume that since you continue to promote this speech, you agree with it.

being raped and tie it into a general disregard for women in the military

Rush's comments and his general disregard for women could be contributing to the problem

In February 2010, the U.S. Department of Defense announced its decision to add emergency contraception (known by the brand name Plan B or as the "morning-after pill&quot to the list of medications available at all medical treatment facilities, clinics, and pharmacies, virtually ensuring that the method would soon be available to servicewomen around the world. Adding emergency contraception to the existing range of sexual and reproductive health care—which already includes contraceptive counseling, pelvic exams, HIV testing, and condoms and other contraceptive methods—gives the more than 200,000 active servicewomen and their families an additional tool to help prevent unintended pregnancies.
