Something To Remember When Talking Heads Say "The Majority of Americans Disapprove of Obamacare"

Just heard that now from CNN's Erin Burnett, and I have heard that line countless times in the past few weeks.

Jonathan Alter pointed something out while on MSNBC recently. In almost every poll, a good number of people that disapprove of the law are Democrats who feel the law doesn't go far enough.

Look at the CBS poll. Of the majority of those who disapprove of the new law, 26% were Democrats. The same thing in the ABC/Washington Post poll not too long ago.

then why is it now the law of the land? Didn't it have to be voted on originally? And didn't it pass? Well, do you think it would have passed if the majority of Americans didn't want it?

It isn't even just Republicans...a lot of news anchors on networks like CNN and MSNBC that are supposed to be ''non-partisan'' are pushing that talking point.
