But, in a way, Obama and Reid are partly responsible, for not standing up to them better. The Crazy Right did not get to where they are now because the Democrats were doing their jobs of properly representing "We the people...". When the Republicans are a minority, they still seem to get their way.
Enough of being nice and reaching across the aisle. Call them out loud and long for what they are. Floor speeches on C-span to an empty room isn't enough. What happened to Reid's plan for the filibuster, anyway? Or any of several other ideas to slow them down, that never materialized?
