How Disgusting! "Congressmen Booze As Government Shutdown Looms"

Congressmen Booze As Government Shutdown Looms

The Huffington Post | By Paige Lavender

"SNIP.............................

House Republicans spent hours on Capitol Hill Saturday as a government shutdown loomed, but that didn't stop some of them from having a little weekend fun.

Reporters tweeted that they could see -- and smell -- several Congressmen enjoying a drink while working

................

Republicans are shutting down the government over their opposition to health care reform. After the bill passed the House in 2010, Democrats did plenty of boozing themselves, much of it at The Tune Inn, a dive bar just blocks from the Capitol, but plenty of it inside the building as well.

they can live with themselves after trying so hard to deny health care coverage to those that need it, but that would imply that they had a conscience. Silly me.

years ago, most of that has been eliminated. It turns out that most companies don't like their employees drinking on the job or coming back from lunch after knocking back a few. We should demand they eliminate that at The Capitol.

some years ago and found empty bottle after empty bottle in the crawlspace. I don't mind people celebrating making people's lives much better, especially people who don't have much choice in their lives. But this is sick. This is not fighting the good fight and obviously anybody who thinks is messed up.

Sweaty, boozy, red faced, staggering goons celebrating yet another attempt at taking health care away from the youngest, the oldest, and the sickest Americans. This disgusting stereotype would be funny if it weren't for the fact peoples lives hang in the balance.

People in Washington DC don't care about REAL PEOPLE. A.T. A.L.L.

You don't really think the only ones getting drunk are all Republicans do you?

with an example of democratic boozing. I got the message it was republican boozing tonight that was being reported on. Which is the message they were trying to get out. Or they would not have reported on it at all. Sometimes reporters react like simple good human beings.
