Let's call it what it is

None dare say it but someone should.

We have a elected government where laws are debated, passed, executed and enforced. Most of those laws cost money.

Certain Republicans now refuse to fund the very programs they voted for. A failure to fund the government betrays the very people they swore to serve and is an abdication of their role as representatives of those people.

In the past people were persecuted wrongly as traitors solely for their beliefs. The failure to fund the government is not a belief but an act against the very oath the took when they became representatives. That was an oath of service to the country and its people. They are about to betray that oath and their country.

I call this treason.
