very same people who are afraid of shariah law taking hold? We had the issue of sharia law come up in Ontario where we had indigenous and jewish tribunals for non criminal law. The government decided no to extending the laws to shariah and banned all tribunals. It was the right thing to do. How do these people who want religious exemptions feel about setting a precident for shariah law? Just asking. If they won't listen to humanity on the gay issue, or women on contraception, maybe they will respond to their fear of Muslims.
