Oil sand crude.

Refineries that are set up to only handle Brent Seas oil, a cleaner oil, are shutting down because of cost. Over 6 million barrels/day are now lost because 3 of them can't make a profit on Brent oil anymore.

So, how many refineries will be able to handle Canadian oil sand oil, and at what cost?

Canadians wanted them to be in Canada, hence some of the opposition to the pipeline.
