Obama gets heckled on Iran at NYC fundraiser

At a New York City fundraiser on Thursday, a young woman interrupted President Obama’s speech by shouting for him not to get in a war with Iran.

“Use your leadership! No war in Iran!” the woman yelled at a furniture store showroom in Manhattan, according to a pool report of the event.

“Nobody's announced a war, young lady,” the president responded. “You're jumping the gun a little bit.”

The exchange occurred at the third of Obama’s four New York fundraisers on Thursday at the ABC Carpet and Home store, where a crowd of around 900 mostly 20- and 30-somethings was there for the $1,000-a-person fundraiser. The Roots and Ben Folds Five performed before Obama spoke.

Obama spoke for about 30 minutes, and was discussing foreign policy when he was heckled.
