before they get any politcal resistance or fiancial blowback.
There is no other rational reason to continue down this path. I also think they're happy with the results, lots of talk and no action.

but at this point what you are also watching is a civil war in the GOP... the social conservatives are literally at war with the Economic Conservatives... and it is splintering the party.
