Problem is, the tar-sands oil in that pipeline wouldn’t be coming to “us.” It would go directly from Canada to refineries in the Gulf region en route to export markets in Latin America and Europe. The U.S. would be used as little more than a transit corridor.

Do these idiots even care to know WTF they're talking about before speaking? Not to mention the Keystone XL (nice propaganda name, makes it sound so crucial and tempting) would actually cause the price of oil to rise in the meantime. Did I mention Boehner and others own stock in TransCanada?

He knows that the oil will go to the refineries and from their into the global market. He knows that not one drop of it, other than that which will inevitably spill out in the worst possible place at the worst possible time, is designated specifically for USA NUMBER 1 BEST NATION.
