The classic inconsistency of republicans

Tom Coburn was on Face The Nation today. Initially he droned on about how the House effort to defund ACA would fail and how, if it had a chance to get passed by the Senate, he would support it. Blah Blah Blah.

But T H E N . . . . . .

He and Waterboy Bob get into a discussion of the DC Navy Yard shooter. Dr. Coburn then opines as to how health care providers should be required to report delusional people with guns to the cops.

Now let's put those two concepts together.

Let's keep as many people as possible out of the health care system and at the same time sniff out all the mentally or emotionally deficient people and let the local or national constabulary know about those who pose danger as gun threats.

My hair hurts.

They don't give a damn about the general welfare, but they can't admit that. So their entire careers are a tapestry of lies to explain why their actions only serve the rich although they claim to serve the middle class.

Like anyone who tells too many lies, they often get bitten in the ass by their own words.
