The GOP is afraid Obama care will work just fine.

That is why they can not afford to let it pass. If they pass it, then they know 2016 is over for them. It is all about Obama winning and nothing to do with the people not wanting it. Ted (Canada) Cruz just said on TV that they received a 1.5 million signatures to reject Obama care. There are over 350 million people in this country. The poll was in Texas more than likely.

They know full well how it is and often complain about it. They'll never get rid of Medicare or Social Security either. That bugs them no end. So they know this will stick, too.

It has ALREADY passed, been signed by the President, and upheld as constitutional by the SCOTUS. It is the LAW. Republicans are trying to subvert the law. How "patriotic" of them......

they're relying on their lies of how detrimental it will be so it must not be funded to
ensure no positive outcome..yep. Their delay tactics will do more harm to them, I do believe they'll pay a
price for it in 2014...or should depending on how smart the Democrats place focus on their
constant obstruction.

If there was any doubt that it would work, they'd be more ambivalent about it. The PTB don't want it to do what it probably will do, which is cut into their profits.

If they knew what Obamacare really provided for them, they couldn't possibly say they were against it.

Once we start seeing all the happy faces of people getting insurance for the first time and treatment for chronic conditions after waiting so many years in a country that "doesn't ration care or have waiting lists" there will be a lot of support for the party that built this country's 3 most popular and influential social programs: social security, medicare, ACA. Instead of the party of trillion dollar wars who tried to gut these programs and give big tax breaks for billionaires.

Check any GOP board like Free Republic, and watch them piss their pants in fear that this will be the springboard towards single payer since more firms are decoupling health insurance from employment. If people can take their health insurance with them when they switch jobs or go freelance, its much harder to exploit workers through fear.
