Wrecking ball statue removed at Grand Valley State University after students imitate Miley Cyrus



(CNN) - Miley Cyrus might've torn down more than a few walls with her "Wrecking Ball" video.
The 20-year-old pop star has been accused of many things in recent weeks -- including scarring the minds of children with her August performance at the MTV Video Music Awards -- but she's now being fingered as helping to remove a landmark from a Michigan college campus.

According to CNN affiliate WZZM, Grand Valley State University has decided to remove a giant pendulum sculpture on its main campus after some students tried to re-create Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" music video. In case you somehow missed it, the pop star spends part of the top-viewed video riding a wrecking ball in the nude (she does have shoes on, though)
