That, plus the fact that they want to keep their seats. That there is enough reason for them to only offer good thoughts and best wishes. Doing something more substantive would take courage.

I'm sure a bunch of other Republicans (and Democrats) put out similar tweets.

(83,908 posts)and the rest only know how to do lip service. Lips flapping in the wind. Not a single ounce of compassion behind their words, no intention at all to make the changes we so drastically need. Yup it's lip service pure and simple.
It breaks my heart.

Nothing gets through to the hearts of those who take money from the NRA to keep their jobs. They are more important in their minds than potentially saving lives. They are the opposite of courageous.
