It's probably inevitable in that it's threatening to be the issue that chases Gray from office much like education reform bounced Fenty...or more precisely, the majority of parents of DC schoolchildren that wanted to see Michelle Rhee run out of town on a rail. The members of the city council that are looking to run for mayor couldn't race fast enough to find a microphone to declare how much they support this bill.

Fenty could have saved himself by firing Rhee. Gray can still save himself by withdrawing his veto of the LRAA.
