I think Obama is doing a pretty good job at avoiding war in Syria. Now it is up to Putin to deliver.

I worry a bit about what kind of deal Putin is making with Syria that we don't know about in this matter. But we will have to manage that issue when the time comes.

About all of the billions of dollars that we will save by going this route instead of a hypocritical bombardment of a sovereign nation embroiled in a civil war. There should be plenty of money now to end the sequester, fund extended unemployment benefits for the long term unemployed, create a meaningful jobs program to put people back to work in jobs that pay a living wage with benefits, and even have some left to pay down the national debt.

Lets see if any of those RATIONAL choices come to pass, or if the money saved is just handed over to the top 1%.
