Irony: I remember being called seditious, etc.

when demonstrating against both the Afghanistan and Iraq attacks. We felt slightly threatened by the rhetoric aimed against us from all the RW outlets. We were American hating traitors! Occasionally we were shouted and cursed at. Today, no such curses are shouted, no inflammatory rhetoric comes from Faux News and RW radio.
Are these the first acceptable peace demonstrations, ever?

Seems that opposition and support for war has more to do with party politics than principle for a lot of people. I can't fathom that, but then I've never snorted lines of ajax cleanser.

Apparently war is good or bad depending on who says it is.

Sometimes I feel like I'm doing little more than poking a garbage heap with a long stick.
