The 'evidence' the "intelligence community" has is almost all public information.

The only 'evidence' that they have which isn't public are the telephone / audio intercepts, of which we do not have a full transcript or of which the audio hasn't been released. In other words, almost everything that the "intelligence community" is using to determine who did the Sarin attack in Syria is public information.

Here's what we know:

Sarin gas was used. Tests prove, done independently by the US, Germany, and the UK, that Sarin gas was used. This is not controversial and few people question it now (initially I questioned what kind of gas it was). The UN will be releasing their report in a couple of weeks. They will conclude the same.

The Sarin gas payload was very large, extremely large, 50x what was originally reported. This was not some rag-tag operation with a small lab in a cave somewhere. This was an operation done with Sarin gas mass produced in a factory. How or why it was used is speculation. I'm posting only facts about the situation as we know them.

Last we have the videos which show that a lot of people died and suffered in a manner consistent with Sarin gas exposure, frankly impossible to fabricate at the level you can see. If it was one or two videos, yes, one might have a point, but it's almost 200 videos. Almost all on the same day. Almost all of them unique and showing different areas that were exposed.

The report that the White House released is consistent with this information, it was made by people sitting around a table and analyzing the information. This is precisely why Assad said that "they have no evidence" because his intelligence guys probably determined the same thing, it's all being compiled with public information. This is the information age. The NSA/CIA gets their information from the public.

Your links don't mention any tests being conducted by US, Germany, or UK....merely regurgitating of the same propaganda the US is spewing.

Did you not read the UK link? I admit the link to Germany didn't say that and I left out the US link because it comes from Kerry and no one believes him. I think they did tests and there were indicators of Sarin being used but of course the UN report will prove it, so wait a couple of weeks if you are really that paranoid.

I have read no account of any tests other than the UN investigation team...which has not released its report. Even MSF says it looked like sarin, but they didn't examine the victims due to risks.
It is likely that sarin was used, but no evidence to determine which side used it. Both sides possess and have used CWs previously. Retaliating against one particular side, when no evidence exists, makes it look like a pretext to enter the war, for other reasons. IOW, Obama is lying again.

It's math. I posted the report doing the mathematical analysis.

If mass quantities were stolen Assad needs to release that information.
