Talk about a model patient. Tall, thin women are at greater risk for a new type of bacterial lung infection, called Nontuberculous Mycobacteria, according to a study in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care....

"two inches taller" ... "35 lbs lighter" ... than whom?

Am I tall at 5'8"? Though menopause took care of the "thin" part for me ... I am still likely 35 lbs less than the the average 50 something year old my height ...?

Answers, answers ... I want answers

My response is somewhat tongue in cheek, if I were truly concerned ... search engines and I have a rather intimate relationship.

is that they've had this condition for a while before it's diagnosed.

So it's something a doctor should wonder about when s/he is diagnosing a tall, thin woman with a lung infection.
